I started my career in journalism in 2008 - just before the dawn of social media for business.
As a technology reporter, I was tasked with not only understanding how our readers were using social media to reach new audiences and grow their businesses but also how our own company could utilize these tools to reach new audiences, drive website traffic and make sales.
Since 2008, I've had the opportunity to develop social media strategy for a number of different companies and brands. In addition to copy writing, I also regularly shot and edited my own video and photography for posts as well.
